Go to eBay and type in "wool sock lot". I was just looking today and found a lot of 12 pairs of knee-high wool socks for $21. They were men's socks but that doesn't really matter. :P

Sierra Trading Post has often has the Bridgedale socks for cheap. They are really well made (the have a five year waranty) and DH has some that he has worn constantly since about 1997 that still function just great. Anyway worth the cost.

What is your price range? LL Bean has cotton lined wool blend long johns for $25 bucks a piece (so $50 for a set) here and here. They have free shipping until Dec 20th.

Duluth trading company has pure merino wool long johns for $40 a piece: tops and bottoms.
