this may be posted in the wrong area but I need the wash/shampoo and conditioner to be gluten, dairy, egg, soy free! (soy especially and I can't find anything soy free!)

My DD's hair is broken and in BAD shape--I know it may have to do with nutritional deficiencies because of her allergies and we are doing what we can--up until now we have been using California baby on she and my 4 1/2 year old son as well.

I need to find something safe, and that will nourish and help her hair flourish because I want her to have beautiful hair. I finally stopped putting it up in elastics and am letting her look like an orphan with it all stragly to try and let it grow better without any breakage...poor girl. let me know your favorites.

p.s. I know that a lot use VERY safe products and it seems like those are the type that don't nourish as MUCH--just get you through and clean. I am willing to get a little less natural product that will help her hair (but still safe)--let me know--thanks!!!

we use water
once in a while i have used baking soda in water
and when his hair is tangled i use vinegar or lemon juice in water to rinse it
i do the same for my hair but wash mine with the baking soda slightly more often
we both have super healthy hair i found out about it on a thread someplace around here called "no poo" or something

for actual products for hair though i have no idea since i stopped using products my hair has gotten healthier and healthier

We dont use shampoo either. My hair is in much better shape since I stopped using it, honest! I dont use anything to was ds's hair besides warm water. I do use baking soda, vinagar myself, etc like pp, but also:

Pure aloe vera gell, warmed up with some honey blended in makes an awesome conditioning treatment when you need one.

We use argan oil after every 'wash', on damp towel dried hair. This is SUPER nourishing!

We do the baking soda/apple cider vinegar thing as well & I always had dry, frizzy, somewhat damaged hair until I started using the vinegar. My hair's still pretty frizzy but not nearly as bad & it's shinier & healthier than ever. We normally use just water on DS's hair but sometimes we do the bs/acv thing with him as well.
