Could holding a FRER up to the light make it turn BFP

So I took a FRER today. I thought I saw an extremely faint line appearing but figured my eyes were playing tricks on me. I held it up to the light and could definately see a line. When I looked at it again away from the light, there was no mistaking the two lines. The test line is fainter than the control but it is there, it is pink, and it appeared within the time limit.

My question is: Could the light somehow turn the test positive?

Pregnancy this month is possible but I figured it was unlikely.

I don't think that light has any hcg in it so I doubt that holding a test up to the light would turn it positive. Not to mention, if that worked, I think a lot of us would have a bunch of false positives.

Sounds like you got a BFP to me!

it could make it easier to see where the dye is supposed to run over it when it is a BFP. I would test again to confirm tomorrow.

That made me giggle... Yeah, if you pulled it away from the light and it was still pink, I would say it was a BFP... the light may have helped it to dry a little faster though and made the pink line a little more clear

I'm with Attached2Elijah. That or the test wasn't finished processing when you first held it up, so the line was still appearing during your entire "light" experiment.
