New language funny

DS is FINALLY starting to talk! He goes on little sprees where he says the same phrase over and over a few times to get the hang of it. Last night this happened:

*Laying in bed trying to get DS to sleep*

DH: Give Daddy kisses.... Can Daddy have a kiss?
DS: Ummm.....No.



It was so matter of fact DH and I cracked up laughing (and probably set the whole "bedtime" mood back a little)

dd is really into "ummm" and "no" too. that exact same conversation has taken place in our house on more occasions than her dad would like to admit.
