How would you handle this?
Situation 1: DD 19 months will say she has to go potty if we're getting in the car and she doesn't want to or when we're going to bed and she wants to stay up. Ideally I would remember to offer it before situations like this,but sometimes I forget. Usually I will stop what we're doing and offer the potty and often she doesn't go. Sometimes if we're in the car and I really don't think she has to go, I'll say wait till we get home.
Situation 2: Sometimes I know she is holding a pee, but she doesn't want to sit on the potty. She'll either keep holding it till I think of a way to make the potty interesting or go on the floor.
