Today I applied to the SPCA to foster cats and kittens! I'm so excited! I have a workshop to go to on the 13th Nov and then I will be ready to look after cats and kittens that need some TLC!
They sound as though they are over-run with cats and kittens at the moment (being that kitten season is just starting here) so there is a chance I may be taking someone home straight after the workshop!
I would love to be able to foster other animals as well, but I'm not allowed dogs here, and with three cats already I think rabbits, guinea pigs etc are out of the picture!
DS1 is so excited about opening our home to some kitty cats that need help. I've already explained that we're just looking after them for a while and then they go back to the SPCA so they can find a forever home. Hopefully he won't be too heartbroken the first time we take a new friend back....... hopefully I also won't feel the need to adopt every one that comes through the house!
