Cycles & breastfeeding??

Hi there, so I posted about my funky cycles several months ago, but have since 'let it go' that they were just bound to be irregular for a while. But up untill *THIS* cycle they had seemed to have evened out.

After being up to 3 months apart for a few months, they evened out to every 35 days for 3 or 4 months, and then dropped to my before-ds2-normal 28/27 days for 3 months (28, 28, 27, to be exact).

Only, its now day... 31. And no AF. I've done a pregnancy test the last couple days and all have (thus far!) been negative. DH & I have been utterly religious about using condoms since before ds2 was born last august 09'. And I'm just kinda sorta, vaguely freaking out here. We are 'done' - DH was supposed to get a V in september but due to work/school it had to be postponed till december.

And then theres me, here, at 31 days, and nada. WTF! Any advice? Thoughts? Is she coming? Am I pregnant and just not showing positive yet on tests?? HELP!

I have had AF back for about 18 mos now, and mine are still nowhere near as regular as they were before he was conceived (it's a PITA since I WAS TTC this summer). When DS was about 6 mos, AF was later than normal, and I was freaking out b/c I did NOT want to be pregnant at that point--I wasn't. I'm just chalking it up to the hormones. Are you charting so you know what part of your cycle is varying?

If you've been diligent with BC I bet you are not preggers. I totally feel you on running for the pee sticks; I've had my cycle back for 6 months and it has been all over the map. Like, maniacal! I've had 45 day cycles and one 16 day cycle. I am chalking it up to the hormones -and I have to believe that when DD nurses more (teething, etc), it has to affect my cycle, no? I used to be very regular before DD so I have been hoping to go back to something more regular, but no luck yet. I've had moms in my group say they simply weren't regular again until they stopped bf altogether, hmmm. Good luck!

Well, good news ladies My period *FINALLY* showed up yesterday. Only 4.5 days late! Ugh!! So freaking worrysome!!

Its soo freaking wierd though, because betwen DS1 and DS2 (and yes, ds1 nursed every bit as much as ds2 has, if not more!!), my cycles came back at 9 months and were like *CLOCKWORK*! It was freaking awesome. Every 28 days. Exactly. Without fail. Till I was preggers w/ ds2. And this time... they've just been all freaking over. Its *SO* *NOT* *FAIR*!!!
