I'm positive it was in this forum, but now I'm questioning myself 'cause I can't find it. It was a mom that had a kid that was ahead of the class and she was trying to find ways to challenge/support her (the child was a girl) at home.

They came up with some variant of a word wall (possibly on her closet door) and I need that! I've looked in the LAHAB forum, too... nothin'

I think this was a thread of mine, and it was in this forum. I can try to find it for you, but what we do is this--when she finds a word she doesn't know while reading, we write it on a sheet of paper that is posted on her wall called "DD's Cool New Words." We also talk about the words from time to time--she actually likes me to quiz her on them.
