Awww, I'd love to be there today, but 1pm is hard for us. . .right in the middle of nap time. Maybe we can do it again next week, for us generally either meeting at 10am or around 3pm works best.

And I know of a number of homeschooled kids around your DDs age from the APPen group--I can get you connected

10 or 3 would work for us most days too.

An yay! On the connections

I told her that I may have found some homeschooled kids to play with and her face just lit up!

I think she was beginnin to think she was all alone, even though I promised other people do homeschool.

Oh, man! I just missed this meet up.

Still interested in a meetup down here too? Pretty, pretty please?

And I totally get the whole 'I could cry thinking of meeting other moms' thing. I don't know why, but this area isn't very, ummm, get together friendly? Plus I find it so hard to just wander over and start up convos. This way, I KNOW that the whole point is to start talking, and hey, I already HAVE started talking to you guys, so there we go.

So..... Wanna do it again

I'm up to switch parks... Or not. Sunfish park and shad park have Sand but not water but I don't think either of them have bathrooms. I'll check a couple parks out this week and update more.


But I would love to hang out again!

If you want I can give you a ride.  I have two extra car seats (one Britax and one Chicco bucket).  My windshield has a big crack in it though...will that bother you?  Sorry if that seems like a strange question lol!

 

I'd have to make sure all three seats would fit in the back of a Honda Accord, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

I don't think its supposed to rain until evening...but seeing as the park is so far from your house and you have three littles I don't mind calling it off for the week.  Do you know if there is an indoor place we could meet instead?

 

I think I am going to have to bow out next week (the day after Thanksgiving).  I have to take my ILs to the airport.

I just checked the weather and it does look clear. Maybe we could do sunfish park or marlin? Those are a bit closer in case it does rain... Because that's totally how my life goes. Even though sunfish doesn't have a bathroom it is right across from marlin park.... And it's got a great sand box area.

Or we could do the library.

I cannot believe next week is thanksgiving already!?!

I think I am going to skip out tomorrow as well since my in-laws are arriving (for a week..eek!) on Saturday and I still have major housecleaning and baking to do.  Holidays...sigh.  At least there will be lots of food.

 

Anyone else want to jump in and make plans with Jen for tomorrow??  I'll be back in two weeks.

No it's totally good! I was feeling like hibernating but kept talking myself into committing! smile.gif

Dh took my birthday off on Tuesday and I had a friend over today so I've got lots to do around here!

I know! We are doing laundry (which involves a short walk) and it was clear so we walked to starbucks... Got caught in rain on the way home! I immediately thought of this thread here.
Good thing we are so close.

My birthday was seriously one of the best birthdays of my life. Yay for 30! smile.gif

Just wanted to say hi!  Couldn't make it today even before the rain and I guess I'm out for next week too, as DH will be off for the long weekend and actually Friday is our anniversary. love.gif   But I'd love to do it again. . .I know the holidays get crazy, but hopefully we can slip in a couple more park days after Thanksgiving and before the Xmas madness.
