baby winter boots - where to buy?

Does anyone have any suggestions for where to get winter boots for my 7.5 month old daughter? I'm looking just to keep her feet warm in the cold New England weather... and don't want to spend $50 for a pair!

I found some cute/warm ones at Walmart for my son a few years ago. I don't know what there selection is like now though. Robeez makes little fuzzy boots, but they are more expensive.

Check Craigslist for a pair of Stonz used. Best.boots.ever. Especially for a child who's not walking yet. The Robeez boots are nice too & our local listing has them for $15ish quite frequently.

I got these Teva booties for my 3 month old and I'm loving them so far. They keep her feet warm, stay on well, and the sizing is actually adjustable (you can increase the length by maybe 1/2").

We are looking for some, too, but I would like them to be waterproof-ish. We have a pair of the Robeez boots left from when my son was a baby, but the soles aren't waterproof, so when the baby wants to get down and toddle around in cold weather, their feet get wet! Any ideas for warm baby boots with waterproof soles?

I have a friend who makes baby shoes and boots and sells on Etsy. They might still be too pricey, but it doesn't hurt to look.

I just got ds (11 months) some of these and they are really cute. I like the Robeez boots, but I couldn't justify the cost for this age range. The Target ones are half the price as the Robeez booties, $20.

Ds has already gotten quite a lot of compliments when he wears them.

Otherwise I like the cute fleece booties from Zutano that are nice, that ds 1 wore for the 6-12 month range.

Yep, we just got a pair of the Target (Ministar) boots too. I had a pair of Robeez boots for my now-5 yr. old but the Ministar ones actually seem like they stay on better, and are a lot cheaper. Also I saw some cheap soft-soled hot pink boots at Old Navy.

I swear by the fuzzy Robeez, so easy to get on and off and so cute! Plus they are very soft and warm, and our area is practically arctic in the winter, below freezing all the freaking time and cold hard winds. Anyways, highly recommended, and Amazon has a 20% off sale code right now for them

target boots here. can't beat the price. i don't plan to use them out of doors. mostly to and from the car.
the winters here and rough. my hands go numb without decent gloves.

We just got a pair of Bobux but they aren't boots. i also can't believe I spent the money on them but they are 9-15 month size and a bit big on him as it is right now so think (hope) he'll ahve them for awhile. I saw the ministar (target) boots...I think they were brown and fuzzy inside...and was considering them for the cold but wasn't sure how they'd be. Good to know!

I'm looking at these boots (my favourite store!). I have a pair of my own and they keep my feet toasty warm and I am able to walk on the snow for a few minutes .

Hanna Andersson has expensive, but awesome sheepskin boots, but they also have these mocassin boots right now for 17.60.

For a non-walker, I just used fleece slipper booties, but baby was also usually well wrapped either in the warm footmuff of the stroller, or with a blanket in the baby carrier.
