We just started trying foods with dd 8 months. I gave her some steamed mashed peas. This would be her 3rd time having peas. She only really had a few "tastes", this was Tuesday evening. Then today dh says her bum looks red, no cheeks rash but right in her crack by her bum hole and vagina. It is also a bit red in the creases of her legs and on her labia. She sometimes gets redness in her crack and crevices after pooing. But I don't think she pooped yesterday or today. Could this be from urine or the cloth diapers OR from the peas. I didn't notice a red bum when she "tasted" the peas before. Never quite sure, even with dd1, what the "ring around the anus" looks like, and how that differs from redness from pooping or peeing. Thanks for any insight anyone may have.
