How to Prepare?

I'm 21 weeks, and planning a MW attended homebirth, but there's the risk that the MW won't arrive in time (relatively fast birther, and I don't plan on calling until closer to the end), so I want DF and I to be prepared for at least the more common things that might go wrong. So I'm looking for info on what situations she should try to be prepared to handle, and info on how to handle them.

The book or PDF of the book "Emergency Childbirth" could be very helpful to you. I think you can find the PDF link under the "UC resources" thread. There's also a link to some pages a mom worked up I think with emergency info on them that is linked to in that same thread. HTH
