How Crazy Was Your Pregnancy & Postpartum?

Any of you have alot going on when you were pregnant (or are!) with your LO? And/or during postpartum?

Planning for #3 and looking at the year ahead when DH moves from PT school to FT and continues to work. This will mean three to four fourteen hour days and two twelve hour days (when he is gone--basically from when the kids get up past when they go to bed on the longer days). Straight through the year with very little vacation time.

However, I'd really like two more and within a certain time frame (I'm on the other side of 35)...

We like to keep things simple and low-stress in our house but really would like to expand our brood!!

I'd love to hear your experiences.

Let's put it this way -- my childen were both conceived and born in different places, and they are only 27 months apart! We are planning to TTC#3 sometime next year, right when I will be in school, working alongside DH with our business, and most likely during another (yet hopefully FINAL) relocation.

Between having 2 kids and the nomadic lifestyle -- the last few years have been pretty crazy around here!

DH is in the military and there have been times when he was either gone or working ridiculously long hours within a couple weeks of one of our kids being born. It has definitely been challenging and chaotic, but usually just for the first ~2 months or so. Even so, the adjustment from 1-2 was the hardest and after that I had a better handle on it even when DH was gone. Things were still crazy, but I was more laid back, my idea of what made an acceptable breakfast/lunch/dinner was much more flexible and my housekeeping standards were much lower.
