Sodium Ascorbate

I'm about to buy SA for the first time and no stores around carry it. I have to choose from one of the many online. Are they all the same? Do some have something else added (that does not or should not be in there)? Do you give it to you/your lo(s) through out the winter season on a regular basis? Thank you!

We use the NOW brand from iherb--

We use sodium ascorbate only when ill (start at first sign of illness). For everyday vitamin c supplementation we use amla.
