Does anyone have on of these?

We're thinking of getting DD a doll house and this seems like a great deal, plus it's wooden...

They have one at my son's therapy clinic, I like that it is open from many sides to facilitate play for more than one person at a time.

I have this on my wish list, it is a tad cheaper: http://www.amazon.com/Wonderworld-WW...=20O68RLIU3CLH

Let us know if you get it!

I have had one similar to that. It was more red and blue, though. I also purchased the family car so that my son would play with the dolls and their accessories as well. We got a lot of play out of it from both genders and the grandmas enjoyed buying the little furniture sets for the rooms.

Similar Doll House

We have a Plan Toy dollhouse that is very similar in it's design. I think that Ryan's Room makes some other ones too.

It's true that the open concept makes this type of dollhouse very good for more than one person to play with. I think the therapists like them too because they can more easily see what the child is playing and because the generic simple design lets kids project their own ideas more easily.

Our 5 and 6 year old girls are still keen to play with the dollhouse that we have, and it's good for our younger boys too. I will say though, that at 6 our older DD is starting to drool over the fancy architectural dollhouses with lots of details. Our girls are at an age where they are fascinated by tiny miniature things.

If you have or expect to have younger children in house, or if your DD is under the age of four I'd say that it's a good dollhouse to consider. If your DD is closer 5 or 6 you might want to look at something fancier.

It is a good deal for a furnished dollhouse. The Plan Toy house plus the accessories cost us $350, though we didn't buy everything at once.
