How long does your babe sleep at night?

My LO seems to be on a pretty consistant every other day pattern. For example, Sunday night it went bed 11, wake 1, 4:30, 7. Monday night bed 10:30 wake 3:30, 6, 8. Tuesday bed 11 wake 1, 4, 7. Wednesday bed 10 wake 3, 5:30, 7:30.

But last night!
Bed 10, after already sleeping two hours and only awakening for a brief snack and diaper change.
Wake, 4:30!!! SIX AND A HALF HOURS! The most sleep I have gotten at one time since I the 2nd trimester. I feel like a new person!

So then I start worrying... Is he sick? He seems perfectly fine, a bit starved, but good. We have been nursing for almost an hour, but that isn't unusual. What is unusual is that we are not doing it lying in bed because we both have so much energy. He is very content and is eating noisily, humming and "talking" as he nurses. And I couldn't lay down any longer. I may have to make us return to bed after he finishes his noms, and hopefully he is ok with a couple more hours of sleep.

Dd2 has never regurally woken up more than 1-2 times a night .. She usually goes down around 10 and wakes at 3/4 and 6/7 sleeps til 8-9 after that.. Sure would have been nice if my first did this!

Usually mine is all over the place (but generally waking every 2-2.5 hours to feed). But there must have been something in the air last night because she also slept for 6.5 hours! And now, after her breakfast, she's napping on me again.

I was paranoid that she was sick, but perhaps its just her way of celebrating turning 10 weeks today!

Lila tends to fall asleep downstairs with us around 8 or 9. Around 10ish I take her upstairs and change her diaper. That generally wakes her enough for me to get her to nurse. I think she pretty much sleeps through that feeding. She wakes up around 4 or 5 latches on and goes back to sleep til I get up at 6 or 7. I was blessed with a sleeper

My little guy has been waking every 2 hours to eat but this week he's started doing a 4 hour stretch at the beginning of the night! Last night he slept 4 hours, nursed and slept 4 more hours! HEAVEN!!

Not really sure as we cosleep and I can nurse in my sleep, but I think he eats twice between 11 and 7. He tanks up between 8 and 11 pm.

He goes to sleep for the night around 7-8 pm. He'll usually nurse once around midnight, and then sometimes around 5-6 am. That's about it. He makes up for it by nursing all day long, though.

LOL, same with us I know Caden goes to sleep around 9 PM and wakes around 7-8 AM. Pretty sure he eats 2-3 times each night but I normally don't wake up enough to really know!!

She tanks up for like four hours straight, at least, and then falls asleep somewhere around 11, and then it's usually like 2, 5, 7 or something.  I don't get more than 3 hours.

Yep, same here!  I also intentionally stopped looking at the clock and i feel so much more rested.  Although I think she's going for at least one four or five hour stretch each night.

I think I will start trying to avoid looking at the clock! We cosleep as well, and I try to change his diaper at least once a night. shrug.gif Didn't really matter how long we slept at night since I could catch a nap or two with him during the day, but lately he has been refusing to nap for longer than an hour.
