Is Relactation possible after 2 weeks of weaning?

Hi Mamas,
Does anyone have experience with relactation after weaning? I weaned DD (16 months) for many different reasons, thinking it was best for both of us. She has since gotten a cold with runny nose for the past week and still wants to nurse. My breasts feel completely empty. I don't want to give her false hope and let her try breastfeeding to find nothing, but I would like to try to start breastfeeding again because I don't think either of us were quite ready to stop. Any suggestions or similar experiences? thanks.

from what i read, you should still have milk and if you offer it to her you will start to make more again.

Yes, it is very possible! I relactated for my ds2 after weaning him for 2 months. Stop all bottles now, and start using an SNS or a Lact-aid to provide formula while you nurse till your supply grows. You can also use More Milk Plus capsules. Good luck!
