This might be a really weird question

Why do pacifiers get bigger?
I've never used a pacifier with my other babies. For this one I give it a little here and there. She is really liking it, so Im not letting it get out of hand. It really helps when I'm trying to do homework with the other kids.
Anyway, enough about my pacifier guilt.
Do bottle nipples get bigger as they get older?
Does it really matter if I replace all the ones I have?
Would it be bad for her mouth in some way to stay with these? ( I use the mam 3 month size)
She is 6 months now and I see in the stores there is a bigger size.

I wondered the same thing, because some of the MAM 6 month ones have cuter designs than the newborn or 3 month ones. While I think there isn't much harm in using a slightly big paci, using one too small is a choking hazard; DS at 11 months can fit nearly the whole MAM (3 month size) in his mouth. FWIW he doesn't use paci's anymore, but sometimes finds one in his toybox and plays with it.

It isn't really the nipple that gets bigger, it is the part on the outside of the mouth. Bottle nipples do change in flow for older babies, but not size.

For the MAMs also I have noticed that some of the larger size have silicone wings that are good for teething babies, if they are in the habit of chewing on paci's like my DS is.

This has not been my experience. My parents bought about 25 pacifiers for a game for my baby shower (yeah...that was not so fun) and they ranged in size from NB to 12 month. The nipple on the 12 month paci is almost twice the size of the nb. FWIW, DD doesnt use a paci anymore, but when she was little she couldnt take the bigger ones, they made her choke.

That's what I'm thinking, but don't the bottle nipples stay the same size?
