give me breakfast ideas

My mind can't think past more traditonal breatfast items like cereal eggs toast etc.. I'd like to offer my LO a better breakfast on aoocassion but shes not too keen on most things.
Tried oatmeal she dosn't like it
tried eggs same thing
tried cold cereal (no milk) shes likes that but there like zero nutrution in some multigrain cheerios plus shes doesn't really have that pincher grash yet so she more fists them and they end up everywhere but her month...
I'll given her bannana and she loves that
I haven't introduced much as far as breads would things like toast or waffles be okay to give her?
FWIW most days I just plain nurse her an give her a bit of fruit to munch on and I think thats fine but we eat breaskfast together as a family on weekends and it would be nice to inclue her more but would like more ideas..

Honestly, if she's not that keen on eating, I wouldn't push it. She's young still. If she wants to eat some fruit while you guys are doing family breakfast, I would just slice up an apple/pear/whatever you're doing at that point that is appropriately sized (nothing she'd choke on) and let her eat at the table with you. I would nurse beforehand to make sure she's not grumpy!

My 11-month old eats lentils and cooked carrots most mornings for breakfast. She doesn't know that lentils aren't a typical American breakfasts food.

It doesn't sound like your little one is into eating that much. My oldest didn't really care about solids until almost one. He was a nurse-aholic and that was fine. There is no reason to push food. Just go by your baby's cues. Getting the pincer grasp down opens up a lot more options.

Remember that a baby doesn't know the difference between meals -- they don't know that in Western culture, eggs and bacon and cereal are common breakfast foods. To a baby, any time is a good time for sweet potatoes (or avocado, applesauce, whatever her favorite is), so I wouldn't personally worry about sticking with the standard breakfast repertoire.

That said, if you'd prefer to make food that you can also eat, perhaps:

-Grits! They're made from corn (though double-check your ingredients! Some may have filler).

-Homemade turkey "sausage" (store sausages are full of salt) with ground turkey, maybe some sage and a little bit of very finely chopped onion or garlic, bound with an egg. Crumble it up and let her go to town on the crumbles!

-Latkes, made with sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes.

-Yogurt "smoothies"

I remember my first trip to Asia, discovering that standard breakfast is often noodle soup... it was only a shock for a little bit, because as it turns out, it was REALLY GOOD noodle soup!!

I agree that it's not necessary but...some ideas we have...

Other kinds of fruits
Kamut puffs (DD loves these)
Yogurt (greek, full fat)
Polenta
Avocado
Crepes (you can make gluten free) stuffed with cheese/spinach (or whatever you want)

I actually find breakfast the easiest meal to come up with!

try cream of wheat made with milk (not water). you can use your milk if you have a huge store of it in the freezer (i did), or cow or goat milk if you are incorporating that in other ways and she's fine with it (we had been - yogurt and cottage cheese). to sweeten the deal, slice up some bananas in little pieces to add chunks. my son actually fusses at no-chunk (smooth) food. he loves loves loves his cream of wheat, and it's not horrible for him. most calories come from the milk, the sugar from the banana.

another bonus is that you can make a big batch at once, fridge it, and then just reheat with a little more milk when your LO is hungry.
