I need a hug...

I'm so frustrated with DH. I am 8 days pp and my mom is leaving tomorrow. My hubby is going back to work Monday. I'm very overwhelmed with a 2 year old who is not adjusting well. He's misbehaving a lot.
I asked DH if he could take another week of leave and he says "Maybe. I'll see."
And I was like, "What do you mean? Just put in for it." And he says, "I have a job."
Um ok? It just upset me because it seems like he would rather go back to work than stay and help me. I'm still in physical pain and I'm not getting much sleep. Corbin is still a terror and I'm going from having 2 people to help me to being alone all at once. I am just already starting to feel overwhelmed. Plus I just found out that I'm pretty seriously anemic so that is making my butt drag even more.
*sigh* I just need a hug.

You'll get through this.

Is there a friend or neighbor or church member who might want to come visit and help out a bit?

Does your 2 year old have any friends he can go have a playdate with a few times?

Thanks everyone

I talked to my mom, who talked to my dh...my dh said that he would do whatever he could to get off...he had no idea that I was feeling so overwhelmed. My mom said that if dh can't get off she will send my brother up here to help, so I feel much better.

Thanks everyone, we figured out that my 2 yo acts perfectly fine as long as he's home with me. He only acts up when DH is home? It's odd...but for me the transition was a million times easier than I thought it would be. I'm relieved. :) Thanks for all the hugs and thoughts!
