"Washable" marker stain

A capless black Crayola marker was left on top of my new flannel quilt by a small person who shall remain nameless. (<cough> DS2 <cough>)

The quilt soaked up a TON of ink. I didn't realize it right away.

I've rinsed and rinsed, sprayed with oxy stain remover, rinsed some more, washed on delicate in cold water, rinsed, sprayed again, rinsed some more... right now it's soaking in oxy.

The stain is only slightly less dark.

Is there any hope?? Why did it have to be a black marker? Yellow, red, even pink I could deal with and would kind of work with the pattern, but BLACK??

We had a Sharpie pen incident at our home so I completely understand. I would immediately call the manufacturer. They can recommend the best product to use. And, I would take the item out of the Oxyclean. Sometimes if a stain isn't treated with the correct product it can actually set it. Good Luck!
