Grippy feet?

Thread Starter
My 8 month old is crawling and standing, but with the weather getting colder I want something on her little feet. It seems ridiculous to have shoes (even Robeez-style shoes) on her, though, probably because she's still such a baby. Any recommendations for something that will keep her feet warm but grip the floor? I keep thinking of the Hanna Andersson swedish moccasins, but those are slippery, too.

I don't think it's ridiculous to put Robeez on her! They'll help grip and keep her feet warm. Target has cheaper soft-soles, and so does Old Navy. I just bought some warm soft-soled boots for my 3.5 mo. old.
Also, you can get socks that have the grippy bottoms pretty much anywhere, but they won't be as warm. Some footy PJs have grippy bottoms, too.

We have a ton of grippy bottom socks, and Cecilia will be 8-9 months throughout winter, so I am sure they will come in handy! You can get them at Target, Old Navy, The Children's Place, etc.

yeah just find non-skid socks

like these which are horribly cute

We have the Hanna Andersson moccasins, and they're suede-bottomed, so not too slippery at all (and so cute). We have grippy-bottomed socks, too, but socks alone just don't cut it in the winter time, even indoors. I'd be freezing without my slippers! We're also getting DD the Target Roobeez rip-off boots for going outside.

dd 8mo. has been wearing some robeez that I got used on ebay for a couple months now. I think they work great. Now that it's been getting colder I've been putting the robeez like boots from old navy on her. We do have a pair of the hanna slipper socks, and although they are super cute, I hate that they have a bunch of strings inside and I always feel like one of dd toes is entangled in it. I am dreaming of these. Bit spendy, but they look like they'll last for a while AND we need slippers here until like MAY.

I am not a shoe person at all but I love Robeez for ds to wear to keep his feet warm and from sliding all over the place. He has been crawling since 6 months and started pulling up a week later. He is already in a size 12 months as well, so all of his sleepers have grippy feet. They also make socks (old navy comes to mind) with grippys on the bottom, I keep meaning to pick some up.

My Ds had Roobeez and we loved them! DD has her Target knock offs and they are super cute! She does not walk or even pull up. She sits on her bum and scoots around everywhere. If you could hop with your butt that is what she does. She almost looks like she is rowing a boat at the same time LOL!

how are the robeez and the like on wood floors? we plan to move just as dd needs a new size.

i've yet to find a sock for dd that stays on. i had some great infant ones, but can't find in a larger size.

Old Navy ankle socks are the only ones that stay on DD unless she really pulls on them and takes them off herself they have never fallen off! They have grippy soles but I still find they look slippery for her on our floors.

We prefer to have DD in bare feet at home while she's learning to walk but our floors are also getting very cold. We might try some Padraig slippers. She had some when she was a newborn but I have no idea how they will be for walking.

The Robeez are great on wood floors! They also stay put! Same for the Target knock offs.

Keira has dark pink ones with a dog face. They are super cute. I got them in clearance when I was pg.

Check these...little pink tennis shoes..
