Alone in OC..?

Hi!

I'm a mother to a beautiful 20 month old boy in Orange County, CA. It's a very conservative area, and although I do have a great group of moms here, I often feel like the only one in the world who cloth diapers and attachment parents. All the moms I know have made their babies cry it out, and most at a very tender age.

I love to get my Mothering magazine, proof that I'm not alone, so I thought I could come here and soak up some more good feelings.

You are not alone! I am like minded and in Costa Mesa. My baby girl is asleep on my chest right now wearing a prefold and a Thirsties. She nursed to sleep too! She will go to bed with me when I go and stay there all night.

YOU ARE SOOOO NOT ALONE!!! Please look up address for Granola Babies store in Costa Mesa. Giselle is the owner and her business is amazing. She writes for attachment parenting and babywearing groups and has EVERYTHING for you and natural baby. Yoga classes for mommy and me, playgroups, sign language, etc. If you do FB, friend the nurture baby naturally page, the facebook site for Granola Babies. But mostly, go in and introduce yourself, you have a TON of like minded mamas very close to you!

Enjoy...wish I lived out there, I'd be there everyday!

OMG!!!!! Thank you for posting about Granola babies!!! It is 10 minutes from my house!! SO SO EXCITED!!! I had no idea!!

I will absolutely go check out Granola Babies! Maybe they'll know about an attachment parenting group of moms out here.
