Cleaning a Used Cosleeper

I got a great deal at a yard sale today on a full size Arm's Reach cosleeper. It was only $30! It is in good shape, just a little dirty here and there. I'd like to wash the whole thing off. Anybody know the best way to do it? Can I take it outside and hose it down with some soapy water and then let it dry in the sun? Or would that ruin it? It's still about 85 degrees here, so it would dry quickly.

It was one of those things that I originally didn't want to buy used, but it was such a good deal and nobody has purchased it from our registry yet. I'd just like to clean it up a bit.

Thanks!

I don't think I would hose it down. I would just take a bucket of hot soapy water and give it a good washing (wring out the rag well so it isn't dripping) then rinse with a clean rag and water.

What a great find!

A friend loaned me her's, and I plan to use my HAAN steam cleaner to sterilize it.

I took it outside and wiped it down with a rung out soapy rag. It looks very clean now.

I hadn't even thought of steaming it! Duh! I knew I bought that thing for something!

I also got my full size arms reach co sleeper from a yard sale for $30! It was apparently only used twice for twins but didn't work for them.

Anyways, I washed everything in the washing machine that I could take off including the sheets they gave me. And I wiped down the "mat/bed" and external parts with a a soapy dry rag and then sprayed the mat down with Seventh Generation disinfectant.

I love my pre-loved co sleeper!!
