Dss just turned 5 at the end of October. He has been using the potty consistently for I'd say a year. In the past couple of months he has been having some problems, never at our house.
The first time I became aware about it was when DP and I went to pick him up at his mom's and her husband said that she was giving him a bath because he peed himself while playing games using the computer. I had restricted his computer use here at home because he would kinda zone out and wouldn't want to go outside, eat or drink. His stepdad also let us know that he had poop himself last week while using the computer. I thought this was nothing more than him being way too involved in his game and not paying attention to his body.
The thing is it has happened that he has pooped himself about 3 more times. I don't know if this has happened on only days DP has gone to get him. I'm not sure if it has happened while he was on the computer again. I'd figure that by now they'd restrict his use. I did ask him once if he was using the computer when it happened and he said no and I just tried talking to him about how we need to pay attention to our bodies and even if we are having a lot of fun we have to stop for a moment and go to the bathroom.
