Hi! I think it is really hard to get great day care in Texas. I know that UNT has a lab school that any one in the community can get in but there is waiting list I am sure and there is a half day school at St. Andrews(both are accredited by  a national early childhood organization). I know North Lakes Recreation Center(City of Denton program) on Windsor has a half day program. The teacher is a mom and she is really good. It has an one to 10 ration I believe. You can check out places by going the Texas Child protective services website. You have to meander(sp?) around but once you get to the day care section just enter the name and all the official reports on that program will come up.Susan
