I want to be here - But at the moment I can't be

Does anyone know the percentage that I'll have twins again?
I have NO family history of twins and I had mine on valentines day this year.

I also have a heart child - Again, what are the statistics - does anyone know?

Hopefully, I'll be posting here next year some time...

If your twins are identical you have the same chances as anyone AFAIK.

I am in the same boat--no family history. Well, now that we had twins, I do have a family history LOL. If you've had fraternal twins before then that indicates you are predisposed to releasing more than one viable egg at a time, so you have increased chances of twins compared to everyone else. I am not sure how much increased.

I was just doing some research about TTC while BFing and found out a woman is more likely to conceive twins (esp identical) twins while BFing. Kinda freaked me out! LOL

Anyway, thought this might be some food for thought for you although it's not really an answer to your question. I'm sure by googling though you can find the dry statistics of it.
