Winter kids crafts

I stay at home during the day with my kids 3 and 8 months- and I know as it gets snowy here, going outside to play will clearly not be an option. And mommy can only handle so much of the mall play area before her face explodes. I know my older daughter would LOVE to make crafts she can show off- any good, easy, FAST AND CHEAP ideas out there for a 3yo? Any good craft sites for kids her age? TIA!

I actually read about a really cute, easy craft right after I posted this, so I thought I'd share! You take a mason jar and colored tissue paper, decoupage it on the inside and let it dry, then place either sand and a tealight candle inside, or, if you're like me, take the safe road and put an electric tealight candle inside. It's got tearing paper and messy glue involved... kids are sure to love it! I think I'm going to have my daughter make some Christmas ones for Grandma and Grandpa.
