Great conversation between 6 year olds

I was driving dd (6) and her best friend (also 6) today. Her friend said "I nursed until I was 3." and dd responded with "I nursed until I was 4." They then went on to wax nostalgic about how great it was to nurse. "I loved to nurse." "Me too."

Nice to know that there's a rising generation who won't think that nursing beyond infancy is weird!

My son is almost 3 and still nursing (at this moment....) He really enjoys it. I agree........ These kids won't think its weird at all.

My best friend who is 27 nursed till she was 4 or 5 I can't remember and says breast milk is really delicious and sweet. She has great memories of bfing. That's encouraged me to continue on with my 2 year old till she self weans!
