34wks along, stabbing pain in one side?

Last week I felt some stabbing pains in my right side. Today they're on the left. I know the baby is in a different position so I'm assuming that has something to do with it, but I can't imagine what position the baby could be in that is causing these excruciating pains. I can't walk without hunching over in pain and it subsides to almost nothing when I sit. I can still feel it but it doesn't bother me.

I don't know if it's related but I've had a cough for the past several days and if I actually cough as much as I need to without holding it back, I can feel it in my abdomen.

Anyone experienced this? It's new to me, unless I'm forgetting something.

Sounds like ligament pain possibly? I've had intermittent but intense pain like you've described, and twice I fled to the OB out of worry. Both times I was told it was ligament pain. In one instance I could hardly walk, it was that intense. Maybe give your care provider a call just to suss it out? Fingers crossed that everything is ok!

(And I've had a very yucky sinus/head cold thing going on this week, and with a really deep productive cough I can feel it strain in the same places like above... I'm just behind you at 33 weeks.)
