Where do your DC nap? I have always nursed my DS to sleep for naps. We used to lay in our bed and he would nurse then fall asleep. Sometimes I could sneak away once he was out. After he got older he decided to play all over the bed when we tried to take a nap. This would turn into trying to get him to nap for 3 hours. Instead of fighting him to take a nap, I started letting him come to me when he was ready. He always wants to nurse when he is tired. so he comes to me, we nurse and he falls alseep on me. He wakes if I move him so I hold him. I realized that I have held him or layed next to him during naps for 2 years now. I love holding my sleeping baby but once in awhile it would be nice to do something while he naps and I hope I am not creating a bad habit for him. One thing I do not like is that I can not get him to nap while we are away from home usually. Any suggestions on how to get him to lay down and nap on his own?
