Best Book About PT 109/JFK?

I'm looking for the best book about PT 109 and JFK .... I thought JFK had written about it, but didn't find a book about it with his name on it.

Any recommendations? It's for my nephew who reads very well - he's in fifth grade and is fascinated by WWII and especially by the US Navy in WWII.

The book you are thinking about that Kennedy authored is probably Profiles in Courage, but it is about acts of bravery of 8 U.S. Senators, not about PT109.

I haven't read complete books about the PT109 incident, only articles, so i can't help there, sorry.
