Non-toxic paint for cribs, kid's table/toys?

Hi everyone! I'm going to try to make my kids and nephews and nieces play kitchens and am wondering what type of paint and where I can find it?

I know Home Depot has a VOC free paint but I don't think I'd consider it "non toxic" - ??? I'm hoping to find a local one (not to have to pay for shipping) to cut on costs.

Have you looked into milk paint. This is the only type of paint I would use on anything painted in my dc's rooms. I saw martha stewart use it once for a toy box project on one of her shows and she really talked up its non-toxicity. It's a little pricey, though, but it doesn't sound like you would need a whole lot. http://www.milkpaint.com/
