Baby girl was born at 7:30 am Oct. 28th at 36 weeks--7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches.
I was induced on the 26th and after 48 hours of labor including some pretty horrible procedures (such as two failed attempts to insert a balloon into my closed cervix and inflate it, which only dilated me 2 centimeters), the docs opted to do a c-section.
My baby girl stayed in the NICU for two days because she had extra red blood cells from the earlier fetal blood transfusion procedure that she couldn't break down.
My c-section incision split open 15 centimeters long but fortunately, the muscle stayed together. We stayed in the hospital an extra three days and now have a wonderful visiting nurse come to our apartment to do a wound cleaning procedure everyday.
Our daughter is healthy and breast feeding is going very well after an initial learning period of a day or two.

I hope you heal up quickly and enjoy your babymoon!
