Bach Rescue Remedy for Infants

Has anyone used Back Rescue Remedy for infants? I want to try it for those car rides where she screams and screams, but don't really want to waste my money if it is just snake oil.

For us, it's snake oil. I have tried it on myself and on my kids...and no effect.When I was in labour with DS, my doula gave me some and it did nothing. But I know others who swear by it.

I've noticed an effect when a really shocking accident happens, like the time I dropped DS (no injury occurred but it was very upsetting and lots of crying from both of us). But it didn't seem to help with the early colic episodes, and I may have used it in the car to no effect (DS is a car hater too).

I pretty much think homeopathy and flower remedies are more of an idea and can have a subtle effect on a very fine level, but honestly I feel like it's all or partly placebo effect. But for me I'd rather have something (even if it's all in my mind) than nothing, or in some cases (our doctor and pedi are homeopaths) better than conventional pharma drugs. Homeopathy has helped me with my allergies, but only sometimes. Rescue Remedy isn't cheap, but I try to save it for emergencies or extreme situations and it lasts a long time.

ETA: if you get a no-name brand, or just a brand other than 'Bach', it is much less expensive.

I haven't given it to my infant but it has helped me a lot of times!! It works really great for me. I also have some of the other single flower essences and have found them helpful and effective but I do a lot of homeopathy as well and know that my body responses to it quickly. They say that babies and children have a very sensitive response as well since their bodies and systems are still so young and fresh.

Ive rubed it one my littles guys teething gums maybe it was the homopatic maybe it was the 27% alchol content but whatever it was it worked
