Redding, Ca midwife??

Just trying to look into all my options here. Im not having much luck finding a midwife in NC so now Im thinking of going back to Cali to have our baby. All of my family is in Redding so as long as my husband could get time off, I could make it work. Anyone know of any midwives? I dont think there is a birthing center there.

Redding has two for sure, and a third helped at my birth, but I don't know where she is in the process of being certified/practicing on her own. 

Nora McNeil  has a wonderful birthing room in her home, and her house has a view of Mercy Medical Center, in case you are worried about proximity to a hospital, just in case. I birthed in her home, and so did another friend of mine, but my friend who referred me to Nora birthed in her own home.

Deva Burgess was not taking new patients when I was looking for a midwife.  She has since, and I have a friend who had a wonderful experience with her.

Corrina Hall was working with Nora at the time I was in Nora's care, and I thought she was amazing.  She had a fabulous bedside manner, and I'd seek her out if I were to have another child.  Like I said, I don't know about her practice, but it's worth looking her up.  I found her on twitter, and her son was in my class last year, so I could get her number for you if you'd like.
