Woah..

This is very, very, very different... I'm trying to adjust. I'm sure I will eventually but WOW. It's a bit distracting the way everything is set up, not sure that's a good thing with preggo brain. wink1.gif HAHA.

It is!  Be sure to go through your "My Profile" as there are options on there that affect things - like seeing signatures - that you may want to change.

It's unfortunate that these extreme changes had to happen when we were soooooo pregnant - but I guess they would happen when SOMEBODY was very pregnant...

It is really different, but I kind of dig it!  I am finding a lot of the archives are MIA---as I'm desperately searching castor oil....

Thanks for the heads up, Heather! I can see signatures now... woo! How are they showing that you are a subscriber?? Just curious, lol, not that I need to wave my 'status' around.. haha. Yeah, Bobbi... I agree. orngbiggrin.gif I like the changes, too, just finding them an adjustment is all. I embrace change slowly. heartbeat.gif

I typed up a whole answer about how it was different but I'm sure I'd get used to it... and then I pushed clear instead of submit. I'm too pregnant for this kind of change! waahhhh lol.gif

I just went on my profile to make sure everything was correct & noticed the siggy thing. It also made me fill out my birth date, zip code & country. I can't remember if it's always been like that or not.

And yea, I'm WAY too pregnant to go through a change like this right now.

Yeah, I really don't like the b-day & postal code thing. Just so you know, I was born in 1934 & I share a postal code with Santa. lol.gif

That was weird....why did it make me post inside your quote, Farren?

This new thing is buggier than FB.

The postal code and birthday stuff is private - doesn't go anywhere AFAIK.

I just got my first email notifications! joy.gif

I'm sure there will be kinks to work out as the day - and next few days or weeks - progress but it is looking like a really clean transition so far! thumb.gif

Nic, I'm not sure if they've decided on the subscriber thing - what used to turn you pink, right?  I think there may be a separate badge for that but it's a good question for the Q&S threads! thumb.gif

In a couple months we'll forget what the old site looked like! lol.gif

Fern (((Hugs))) It's ok, Mama.. we will adjust. I don't think anybody is going to judge you on spelling... at least I know I won't and I'm one of those people that gets twitchy when I see numerous misspellings, but that's usually those that don't make an effort. smile.gif

change makes me nervous.  good thing i won't be having any other major changes in the next few weeks.  oh wait, except for having a baby.

does my avi show up?

it does!  yay!

If I type "teh" instead of the, when I click on it, it just asks if I want to cut/paste/etc - where it used to give me spelling corrections.

And is anyone else having trouble replying outside of a quote??

I am using FF and I don't think I'm having issues.... the only thing is just adjusting to the format, it's soooooooooo very different.

I am using Safari and it doesn't work well for me, either...
