Questions about new MDC

I don't know where else to post this.  I'm a bit frustrated with the new site and my inability to make things work!

How do I create a new siggie?

Also, anyone else having issues with the new emoticons?  The window that it opens up for me, won't allow me to scroll and see all the smilies.  Urgh.

Is there a place to find out about the changes and how to use the new site?????

I'm having the same issue.  I want my little couple-in-love smiley back in my signature, dag nabbit!

I too am confused by everything. I don't like change. But I'm thinking that the mods are still working on things, and testing everything, and soon things should be more normal. I'll keep checking back with high hopes.

My biggest trouble is the ads running all down the right side of my screen. About 1/3 of my MDC view is ugly ads. I can't stand ads. I do hope those go away.

And my "user CP" missing.

You have to reset the ad-free option in your profile if you're a member.

As for the emoticons, it looks like there's only a small fraction of what used to be there (insert nonexistent sad emoticon here). I can only hope they come back, I loved all the smileys in the old MDC.

I have to say, I am resistant to change but I can see that I will one day like where all this is going. The big thing that bothers me is not being able to jump to the end of the thread and only see those posts that have been written since the last time I checked the thread. You are either working on that or I am missing it, right MDC?

The smilies are being worked on and should be working normally within the next day or so. It seems we had so many smilies that it made it a bit of a project.

Your "User Cp" is now at the top in the tab "My Profile."

You can change your signature by going to "My Profile" in the tabs at the top of the page. Click on "Edit Account Details" and you can find it in there.

If you click on the "wikis" you will find an FAQ that can tell you about the new site. There are many different tutorials in the wikis.
