Can we talk about nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies? :-)

Soooo I went to try on a few bras. Just to get an idea of what I want/need. To my surprise I'm already a 40FF in a HotMilk Bra (it was an ugly lacy bright pink one so I didn't buy it)! OMG! I've been wearing a 38DD (Victoria Secrets Bra), but its been a bit stretched out and honestly is barely keeping my girls in check. I refuse to buy a new bra since I know I'm going to nurse and I want to invest in a decent nursing bra.... or two... or three. Smile

Anyways the problem I find is that nursing bras for us bigger girls are just plain UGLY and if your not careful you end up with a uni-boob! I care more about avoiding the uni-boob look than the pretty factor... but a pretty bra would be nice too.

I'm on the hunt (mostly an online hunt) for a nursing bra that fully supports my girls, doesn't dig into my shoulders, isn't absolutely hideous, and with a shirt on you can tell that I have two boobs and not one gigantic one! Laughing

I really really miss being a 36C... Ahhh my boobs were perfect back then... I use to buy all the cute bras. Now my boobs are saggy but full at the same time and drive me absolutely crazy! Rolling Eyes

Sooo any bra suggestions?

I'm 40 weeks and 4 days so baby is coming any day... Hopefully! LOL! With my daughter I went from a 36C to a 40FF and after nursing I went back down to a very saggy 36D. So my boobs are saggy which means I definitely need a full cup.. I can't do the 3/4 cup/ 1/2 cup or my boobs will just sag out. :-) Sad since those are usually the cute ones.

Anyways I don't have anywhere to buy good nursing bras except one place and they don't care a lot in my size (although they will order them for me), plus I think I can find a lot of what they do carry online anyway.

AHHHH...the days of those 36 C's!  I feel ya.  And I also understand the spilling out effect in the cute bras.  I think you still could do a 3/4 cup if you found one that fit properly.  Have you tried Bravado?  Here is their website.  They aren't the cutest but they aren't terrible either and they are SOOO comfy.  Good luck in your search and good luck with your imminent birth!

I found that the Goddess bras are holding up the best (I have a 6 month old nursling) and have provided the best support.  At first I liked the Anita fancee free bra the best but they don't seem to wear well and are NOT supportive now.
