Christmas gift for son-please help me decide

Our son will be 3 in Feb.  Which of these would you give your three year old?

This one or this  one?

I just showed the images to my DD who is 3 and she likes the fire station...

The fire station looks like more fun.  It has a helicopter and what not.  The only reason I might choose the garage over the fire station would be budget concerns.

Does he love cars or fire trucks more? For our ds, it would have been fire trucks all the way. I think there's more long term possibilities with the fire station, but I'm sure that someone else will prove me wrong!

I got a little people garage that's fairly similar to the one you linked to.  I really thought my boys would love it but it wasn't a hit.  My boys are really into anything with wheels too.  They play with their train set 100 times more than the garage.
