i'm cosidering studying to become an IBCLC, i'm aware of the new requirements and i can solve it. i'm not from the US. i'm a bit "reserved" because of the clinical/medical part of this profession. i'm not a RN and i come from a different field (editing/computers).
i know that i will not be able to work in a hospital settingns and that's fine. i'm more interested in the community and private setting. i wanted to "talk" to other moms who consider/considered this carrer and what do they think, if there are ibclc's that can tell me about their work. i'm a bit scared... maybe it's too "medical" for me, afterall, it's a health profession...
