Can I cook with whey?

On mornings I forget to soak my oats... or don't have time to soak the wheat for some bread, can I still substitute water with whey?  I'm new to soaking and I know that by soaking it sometimes leaches out the bad stuff.... but in cases I don't have time, is cooking with it okay to add some extra nutrients?

I would think that once you cook it, the enzymes/probiotics are killed. The purpose of soaking it is to use the enzymes to break down the phytic acid so that the nutrition in the grain is digestible- once it's cooked the enzymes are dead.

It probably won't help break down the antinutrients, but whey itself is nutritious so you would at least be adding some nutrients to your oatmeal.
