Yeah for self potty learning

I've read about kids who instantly potty learn but never really believed it until yesterday.

DS2 had never done anything on the potty.  I tried, but he never had any interest.  Yesterday he was running around playing, looked at me and said "potty" then ran for it.  He jumped up on the big potty by himself and peed.  I was shocked.  I let him run around naked the rest of the day and he kept going all by himself whenever he felt the need.  He even did 2 poops and never had an accident!  He's in underwear today and doing amazing.

I feel like I hit the lottery.

  OMG, my daughter is doing this, and I can't believe it!

She did it for the first time 3 months ago.  She wanted up on the toilet after I got off of it.  Peed on the toilet (our toilet) all day.  Then, sadly, she lost interest after a few days.  But, she refused to wear diapers.  She would wear one just long enohg to poo or pee in, then rip it off and drop it in our laps.

We bought her a potty seat (that goes over the toilet seat) and interest resumed.  Then, I got tired of having to lift her up there, so we got her the Prince Lionheart PottyPod, and she can go on her own, without even telling me.  She is diaperless all day, even during naps.  Only has a diaper when we go in public, and at night.

However, we are having a few problems.  If I don't know she is peeing, she removes the tray (that collects the pee) and will either take it to the bathroom to flush it, or bring it to me to show me.  However, she spills it all over in the process (and I mean ALL OVER). 

The other being that I am afraid to transition to not wearing a diaper in public, I figured that I just shouldn't worry about it, since she is so young anyway, but once she pees she wants to take her pants and diaper off, regardless of where we are (and none of her pants fit without a diaper holding them up- she is a 20lb 18 month old).

Yay for self potty trainers!  Any advice?

I'm having issues with naked potty learning too.  He doesn't want to put his clothes back on.  I jokingly told my Mom that I was going to buy DS some dresses so he can just pull them up and potty.  I don't know what to do about getting pants on him.

We're going on vacation soon and he can't be naked all day during that time.  I thought about putting diapers on him again, but he tells me no and grabs underwear.  It's going to be interesting.  I think I'll just let him wear underwear and always carry a diaper and extra pants just in case.
