My boss (actually my boss' boss) called me in to his office today. I was freaking out thinking I did something wrong, but it turns out he had to ask me to use a different room to pump in. Poor guy, I think he was more embarrassed than I was! Plus he's long-winded by nature so he was kinda drawing out the agony when a simple "The people on 1st floor asked me to have you use the next office over to pump in, the one you're using sometimes has patient data accessible" would have been enough. But no, I had to get the history, who asked, how they figured out it was me, why I can't use it, why the other office is better, what about the lactation room in the other building, blah blah blah. Okay, I get it, use the other office, no problem, let me out of here!
