Does anyone have one they can recommend?

I don't have one to recommend, but one to NOT recommend...any of the cheapy plastic kind you can find at places like Walgreens.  Yes, it will crudely get the job done, but honestly, it's a piece of junk.

 

I have seen a lot of the better medical grade kinds on Ebay, but I haven't bought any...you might want to browse there.

I bought this one: http://www.earpain.com/  The EARscope for home use. I will tell you that it works well for adults (I used DH for practice and could see the ear drum very well) but I have not been able to use it effectively for DS (who I bought it for) because 1) He is too squirmy and 2) He has a lot of ear wax which seems to obstruct the view.
