Please ponder with me, my strange cycle.

I am normally very regular and I can tell when I ovulate because of the pain and the little test strips that i use.  Except this cycle I didn't buy any strips because they are so expensive and I usually have the O pain very close to day 14.

 This time I had no strips and no pain, but dh and I continued as usual.

I had spotting on 5 dpo  and on 8 dpo.  I never have spotting.  Why would I spot twice?

I am 42 years old and I was using a progesterone cream for miscarriage prevention.

I did a hpt when I was a day late and it was negative.

Now I am three days late with no pms symptoms, which is strange.  I usually have particular symptoms and I start very close to day 28.

I guess I can test again, but I don't want to waste my money.  On the other hand, the suspense is killing me!

No words of wisdom, but I'm crossing my fingers for you! If I were you, I'd go to the dollar store and buy a bunch of pregnancy tests and test to your heart's content. Who knows how much money I've spent on those, but I'm not very patient so it's worked out well for me :)
