Do they make crib bumpers for the top bars?

I  need bumpers for the top of the crib where it slides down. I suppose I could get a regular bumper and fold it over so it's thicker and sew some string on to there (she pulled the other string out so it's been out of there for a long time. Do you think that would be safe?

I turned her crib so the shorter side faces out and she HAS to jump in her crib. Well, she made her chin bleed twice today greensad.gif Poor thing. I'm getting a little worried she's going to bounce right on out of there. She's 18 months and can get some serious good air! Unfortunately she's delayed and we have very little communication between us.. like none. She's very rarely has emotions so I don't want to take away something that actually makes her happy. I wouldn't know how to anyway.

make that 3 times tonight... I've got to have some yarn around here somewhere! (and when she cries she throws up. She rarely cries so I get quite beside myself when she does... and it's happening more and more lately)

Do you mean for the top of the railing? Perhaps you could get a pool noodle, slit it and tie it on (very) securely?
