Now looking for a hands off CNM

Thread Starter

As much as I would like to find a underground midwife to attend me.  I think I am going to need to find a CNM with hospital privileges to go to until I find one. Does any one know of one in the Columbia area? I need one that will be willing to work with me. Or at least one that will allow me to say no to interventions and procedures that I do not want or feel are not necessary.

I would try posting in the Finding Your Tribe section (South Carolina)....or do a search there, that's usually the best place to get local midwife recs.

if you are willing to travel, Carolina Waterbirth in Simpsonville (near Greenville) just announced they are accepting VBAC mamas.  There is a physician who will be helping them at the birth center.
