One word to describe your preemie.....

I was talking to a mom today and she kept describing her son as a fighter. I started thinking what I would describe my son as and wonder what other moms think about thier child(ren).

We call our 29 weeker "passionate".  (he is 11 months now)

 

SOmetimes I have to remind myself that the reason he is healthy and strong is because he knows what he wants and knows how to get it, and the 'passionate'  (some may call it high-needs, or challenging) part of him is why is he is doing so well!

We call our little man a fighter.  He did way better than the Dr's expected and has came through surgeries barley batting an eye.  He is an amazing little being and still takes my breath away when I look at him.

we call her either turtle- because trying to teach a preemie to nurse is like trying to get a turtle to race...and goat- because she sounds like a baby goat when you move her/burp her ect
