Issues typing up new thread

I was trying to type a thread and when I hit return the cursor went to the top of my typing and there was no way to get it back to where I was trying to type. Also the "get notified when others respond" has immediately is that the instant email notification.

 

Thanks. I was trying to type a thread for the talk amongst yourselves forum if that makes a difference. smile.gif

All of them are emails except the one that says "site only (no email)"

 

What OS and Browser are you using so the other thing can be looked into? :)

I have windows 7 and mogzilla fire fox. I did reply to threads last night and didn't have the same issues so maybe it was a fluke. I haven't tried to repost my post and won't have time till later today. If I have the same issues when I try again I will let you know.

I'm having the same issue. I actually just tried to start a thread and NOTHING would work. I couldn't delete, return, ect. I am running Mac OSX 10.5 and using Firefox. I have the same issues sometimes when replying to a thread.

I'm having the same issue, but only sporadically and I'm not sure what I'm doing differently in those cases. I'm using Mac OSX and Firefox as my browser. When I was replying to a thread I was able to correct the problem by switching from "quick reply" to "full page editor". However when trying to start a new thread I encountered the same problem. My cursor disappears and everything I type ends up at the top of the page; I can't replace highlighted text, etc.

Hello Piglet! There is a known FF bug in the Rich Text Editor.

 

There is a workaround for this
